What is digital print?

Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to silk fabric,it is kind of like printing on paper,the designs will be sent to printing machine computer after color adjustment finished,digital printing has a higher cost per page than more traditional offset printing methods, but this price is usually offset by avoiding the cost of all the technical steps required to make printing plates,It also allows for on-demand printing, short turnaround time, and even a modification of the image (variable data) used for each impression.

Double-sides digital printing means printing on two sides at same time, allows to print same or different color but same patterns on two sides.

What is screen print ?

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.

What is embroidery ?

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as pearls, beads, quills, and sequins.

What is woven ?

It is the textile art in which two or three distinct sets of yarns or threads, the warp and the weft are interlaced with each other to form a fabric or cloth, it only works for logo or design with no gradient color, always used to make ties.

What is momme(mm) of silk ?

Momme is a Japanese word used as a unit of weight measurement for real silk. Momme, often abbreviated as mm, is defined as the weight in pounds of a piece of fabric sized 45 inches x 100 yards. That is an incredibly long piece of fabric -- about the length of a football field! To put it terms closer to the size of sheets: one momme equates to about 4.340 grams per square meter. Eight momme fabric weighs about 1 ounce per square yard or 35 grams per square meter.

The higher the momme is, the heavier and denser the weave will be. During the process of silk production, the silk factory will adjust the density and yarn count of the silk thread to control the weight -- or momme -- of the fabric. With 30 momme charmeuse pillowcase, for example, the weft and warp of the silk fibers are woven closer together than they would be for a 19 momme charmeuse pillowcase. Higher momme silk fabrics are also made with thicker yarn. In this way, momme is similar to thread count, which is commonly used to measure the weave of cotton sheets.

How can you make so many different silk products ?

Because we have many expert craftsmen, it is a easy job for us to make any kinds of silk products, even we never make it, with a sample, we can copy a same one, the process it firstly our print technicians use state-of-the-art digital printing techniques to bond eco-friendly, water-based inks deep into the fibers of silk fabric, then our craftsmen cut fabrics in certain shape and size, after that, they machine sew the fabrics together and hand stitch other part together to make the final silk product is complete and seamless without any obvious sewing line, simply say is any silk products only has two simple process: print and sewing.

What kind of hem you can do for like scarves ?

We can provide hand roll, machine zig-zag hem, machine straight hem, machine imitated hand roll, fringe, tassel, seamless double layer.

Can you print accurate color on silk fabric ?

As different screen shows not same color, we can make it about 85%-90% similarity if you only provide digital print file, but with pantone color or physical sample, 90%-95% similarity can be made.

What kind of package you can offer ?

Your custom made silk products are delivered in free individual poly bags. For silk products to be given as promo company, corporate, school, club gifts, advertising gift luxurious silk products envelopes or hard boxes with your logo affixed or printed on them (minimum quantity 200/500pcs is required) are available for an additional fee. If requested, we will place your silk products in your envelopes or boxes at no extra cost.

Can you make labels, hang tags ?

We have cooperated factories can make custom labels in polyester or cotton material, and hang tag in paper or plastic material, besides brochure can be manufactured as well.
